What it does today

Ask for the job. Get the files.

Master a song or an album

BRAVO's own master chain, at the loudness you ask for (−14 LUFS by default) with the true peak at −1 dB or lower. 24-bit WAV.

Process a folder

Choose a folder and every file comes out at the same loudness and peak, as 24-bit WAV (or FLAC from your AI), with a report.

Separate stems

Vocals, drums, bass and the rest of a song, as four WAVs, on your Mac.

Judge a mix

Up to three things that fail, and how to fix each one.

Tune a vocal

It opens your vocal in TUNE, for natural pitch correction by ear.

Learn your sound

It learns from your Ableton and FL Studio projects, on your computer.

Deliver stems

It exports a WAV per track for your editor or your DAW.

Later: mixing your stems, vocal + beat and mastering to a reference.

Your AI drives it

Works with Claude, Codex and Cursor.

Use its own chat, or ask from the assistant you already use. BRAVO works with your samples, listens to the result and tells you what fails. It does not generate songs.

Free AI DAW for Mac

A DAW with AI inside, free on your Mac.

BRAVO is a DAW for Mac with Apple Silicon: tracks, clips, a mixer and its own instruments and effects. It also has an AI on its Home screen. You say what you want in your own words, BRAVO does the job on your audio and hands you the files.

Today it masters a song or an album, processes a folder, separates stems, judges a mix, opens a vocal in TUNE, learns from your Ableton Live and FL Studio projects and exports stems. Every change in a project is one undo step.

The AI you already use can drive it too. Switch on «Connect your AI» and Claude, Codex or Cursor read the project, run the job, check the result with BRAVO's measurements and tell you what changed.

The audio work runs on your Mac and your music stays yours. The beta is free and open to every OBRA account.

Usage data

What BRAVO (beta) collects, and what it never does

Using BRAVO (beta) requires sharing usage data with OBRA. It is how we see what is used and what fails.

What it collects

  • Which parts of the app you use, and for how long
  • The BRAVO version and your system
  • Errors and unexpected quits
  • Whether each job worked, and how long it took
  • Your 👍/👎 and what you write in a comment

What it never collects

  • Your audio
  • What is inside your projects
  • The names of your files, tracks or samples
  • What you type to your own connected AI

To stop sharing, leave the beta and delete that data from the privacy control on this page. Events are kept for up to 30 days.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is BRAVO free?

Yes. The beta is free. BRAVO's built-in AI has a daily allowance, larger with OBRA PRO, the same subscription as the rest of OBRA. Mastering, batches, stems and exports run on your Mac and use no AI.

Does BRAVO run on an Intel Mac or on Windows?

Not for now. The beta is for Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 13.3 or later. Windows comes later.

Does BRAVO make the music for me?

No. BRAVO does not generate songs. It works with your audio and your samples: it masters, separates, judges and exports what you bring, listens to the result and tells you what fails.

Which AI works with BRAVO?

BRAVO has its own chat on its Home screen. It also works with Claude (Claude Desktop and Claude Code), Codex and Cursor through «Connect your AI», a connector that stays off until you switch it on and only answers on your Mac.

Which file formats does it use?

It reads WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP3 and the other common audio formats. It writes 24-bit WAV, and a folder batch can also write 16-bit WAV or FLAC. It reads Ableton Live and FL Studio projects to learn how you work.

Does it work on my Mac, or in the cloud?

On your Mac. Mastering, batches, stem separation and exports run on your computer and your audio is not uploaded. Signing in and the built-in AI chat need an internet connection.

Which languages is BRAVO in?

The app is in English and Spanish.

How do I get access?

Choose «Get BRAVO (beta)» on this page, sign in or create your OBRA account, accept the beta terms and download OBRA DSP, which installs BRAVO.

It is experimental: it can fail, change or stop being available, and access can be limited or withdrawn. Keep copies of your projects and your audio. 2. Your music is yours Your songs, projects, samples and other material remain yours or their owners'. Using them in BRAVO gives us no rights over them. 3. We do not train on your music We do not use your audio, your projects or your samples to train models. What BRAVO learns from your projects stays on your computer. 4. Usage data is required Using BRAVO (beta) requires sharing usage data with OBRA, so we can see what is used, what fails and improve the beta. We collect: app usage events and counts (which parts you use and for how long), the BRAVO version and your system, errors and unexpected quits, the outcome of jobs, your ratings (👍/👎) and what you write in a comment or in «what did you expect».
