A vocal over a beat with BRAVO: what works today

Mixing a vocal over a beat in one step is still being tuned by ear before it joins the beta, so BRAVO's chat answers «not in this version yet» when you ask for it. Today BRAVO can tune the vocal, judge the mix and master the finished song.

Not in the beta yet

What you ask

In BRAVO's chat, or from your own AI once it is connected:

  • Tune the vocal.
  • Judge this mix.
  • Master it for Spotify.

What you get back

  • The vocal open in TUNE, BRAVO's pitch editor.
  • The judge's three problems, a score and the measurements.
  • A mastered 24-bit WAV and a before and after.

How to do it

  1. Tune the vocal. Drop the dry vocal into the chat and ask «tune the vocal». BRAVO opens it in TUNE, where you set how much it corrects.
  2. Mix it over the beat. Balance the vocal over the beat in your DAW, or ask your connected AI to make changes in the BRAVO project.
  3. Judge and master. Ask BRAVO to judge the mix, fix what it finds, then drop the final bounce and ask for a master.

Limits

  • Automatic vocal-over-beat mixing is not in the beta yet: BRAVO's chat says so instead of guessing.
  • A dry vocal gives the best result; a vocal recorded with heavy reverb keeps it.
  • Beta: Mac with Apple Silicon only. Windows comes later.
  • Access opens by waves from the waiting list.
  • BRAVO works on the audio you bring. It does not generate songs.
