Judge a mix with BRAVO: the three problems and their fixes

Before mastering, ask BRAVO to judge the mix. It listens to the whole mix, measures it and tells you, in a musician's words, the three things that hurt it most, in order, with a score out of 100.

In the BRAVO beta

What you ask

In BRAVO's chat, or from your own AI once it is connected:

  • Judge this mix.
  • Why does my mix sound muddy?

What you get back

  • Up to three problems, in order, in plain words.
  • A score out of 100 and the measurements: loudness and true peak.
  • With your AI connected, the fixes also come as actions it can apply as one undo step.

How to do it

  1. Open the mix. Drop the bounce or the stems into BRAVO's chat, or open the project.
  2. Ask for a judgement. Ask «judge this mix», or a specific question.
  3. Fix, listen, repeat. Fix one thing at a time, in your DAW or through your connected AI, and judge again.

Limits

  • The judge works from measurements and thresholds with known sources; it is advice, not taste. You decide.
  • Beta: Mac with Apple Silicon only. Windows comes later.
  • Access opens by waves from the waiting list.
  • BRAVO works on the audio you bring. It does not generate songs.

Frequently asked questions

What does the score mean?

It is a summary of the measurements, useful to compare versions of the same mix, not to rank songs against each other.

BRAVO is a free beta for Mac with Apple Silicon. Access opens by waves from the list.
