Souly Had
Souly Had is the alias of Harrison McQueeny, an artist-producer from Duanesburg in upstate New York. He picked up the guitar at 10 and started making hip-hop beats at 15, later cofounding the Upstate New York collective Entreband, whose label released his early music. In 2019 he signed with Island Records, which put out his EP B.L.I.S.S. ("Because Love Is So Special"); the self-produced single "Crush" became a streaming hit. An openhearted songwriter with a sweet, slightly raspy voice, he moves fluidly across soul, contemporary R&B, hip-hop and rock, producing much of his own material. His 2024 album "sounds like you're still here" and recent singles like "out for blood" and "confidential" continue a steady, self-directed run of releases.
