Makebo is a Barcelona-based producer and DJ who has been carving out his place in the organic and melodic house scene since launching the project in 2018. His sound is hypnotic and groove-rich, blending organic, melodic and progressive house with an emphasis on emotional depth and refined, textural detail — he's known for sampling everyday sounds (famously a creaking kitchen cabinet) and weaving them into his grooves. He has released on respected imprints including Anjunadeep, All Day I Dream, Lost Miracle and Shanti Radio, and co-founded the Rubicunda label alongside fellow producer Amonita. Beyond releasing, Makebo runs an 'Organic House' online production course and sample packs, sharing his mixing, mastering and sound-design process. His latest single 'Point of View' (May 2026) premiered on When We Dip.
