His sound is hypnotic and groove-rich, blending organic, melodic and progressive house with an emphasis on emotional depth and refined, textural detail — he's known for sampling everyday sounds (famously a creaking kitchen cabinet) and weaving them into his grooves. He has released on respected imprints including Anjunadeep, All Day I Dream, Lost Miracle and Shanti Radio, and co-founded the Rubicunda label alongside fellow producer Amonita. Beyond releasing, Makebo runs an 'Organic House' online production course and sample packs, sharing his mixing, mastering and sound-design process. His latest single 'Point of View' (May 2026) premiered on When We Dip. ## Has worked with [Explore all credits](https://obra.art/makebo#artistas) 19.2M Total plays & views Projects20 Since2021 Verified streams · verified today 19,197,678 +15 K a day · +464 K a month, on average 20 projects · 9 artists · since 2021 spotify 100 % 19,197,678 87 days · Total ## Records [900K has passed 900,000 streams Alchemist Makebo, Volen Sentir 34 days ago](https://obra.art/makebo/alchemist) [300K has passed 300,000 streams Chase the Sun - Makebo Remix Planet Funk, Makebo 34 days ago](https://obra.art/makebo/chase-the-sun-makebo-remix-2) [300K has passed 300,000 streams Chase the Sun - Makebo Remix - Extended MIX Planet Funk, Makebo 34 days ago](https://obra.art/makebo/chase-the-sun-makebo-remix-extended-mix) [80K has passed 80,000 streams Point Of View Makebo 34 days ago](https://obra.art/makebo/point-of-view) Most played ## Most played [01 Back To The Roots Makebo, Amonita 11.461.294 11 M](https://obra.art/makebo/back-to-the-roots-2) [02 Matangi Makebo, Amonita 1.313.425 1,3 M](https://obra.art/makebo/matangi) [03 Savage Makebo, Amonita 991.433 991 K](https://obra.art/makebo/savage) [04 Alchemist Makebo, Volen Sentir 910.582 911 K](https://obra.art/makebo/alchemist) [05 Good Morning Makebo 817.500 818 K](https://obra.art/makebo/good-morning) [06 Never Been Gorje Hewek, Makebo, Amonita 809.669 810 K](https://obra.art/makebo/never-been) [07 Back To The Roots - Extended Mix Makebo, Amonita 592.876 593 K](https://obra.art/makebo/back-to-the-roots-extended-mix) [08 Waterfall Makebo 314.335 314 K](https://obra.art/makebo/waterfall) [09 Chase the Sun - Makebo Remix Planet Funk, Makebo 304.872 305 K](https://obra.art/makebo/chase-the-sun-makebo-remix-2) [10 Chase the Sun - Makebo Remix - Extended MIX Planet Funk, Makebo 304.872 305 K](https://obra.art/makebo/chase-the-sun-makebo-remix-extended-mix) Has worked with ## 9 artists.
