Lenzman
Lenzman is Amsterdam-based drum & bass producer Teije van Vliet, celebrated for soulful liquid funk that bridges golden-age hip-hop samples with deep, melancholic rollers. After earning critical acclaim on Metalheadz—including the personal concept album Bobby—he founded The North Quarter in 2016, a boutique imprint releasing jungle, soul, and jazz-inflected bass music in unconventional formats. His catalog spans collaborations with DRS, Children of Zeus, IAMDDB, Redeyes, and a roster of UK vocalists, while he maintains weekly Spotify playlists covering soulful D&B and hardbodied hip-hop. Originally from Leiden's North Quarter district in the Netherlands, he now operates from Amsterdam and remains prolific on his label, with singles like Heart Is So Heavy (May 2026) and Out The Dance pushing a warmer, soul-rooted sound. With 136K+ monthly Spotify listeners and decades of underground credibility, he champions musicality and longevity over trend-chasing.
