Glimlip
Glimlip is a Rotterdam-based producer and multi-instrumentalist crafting soulful, jazz-influenced lo-fi beats. He started out playing drums and guitar before evolving into a beatmaker shaped by the likes of J Dilla, Madlib, Flying Lotus and Kiefer. His catalog spans three albums — Undertones (2021, with Yasper), the genre-blending Twelve Chapters (2022) and Shades of Purple (2024), a 15-track journey through jazz, soul, funk and electronica — alongside a steady stream of singles, the most recent being Forward Motion (February 2026). Beyond streaming, Glimlip performs live with a seven-piece band at venues and festivals including the North Sea Jazz Festival and Amsterdam's Bimhuis. He also runs a popular YouTube channel sharing original drum kits, sample packs and production tutorials.
