Ol' Burger Beats is an Oslo-based producer, DJ and vinyl collector who has been a dominant force in the international beat scene since his 2014 debut album High Rhodes. His signature craft is flipping dusty jazz and soul LPs into stunning slices of instrumental hip-hop, earning him a reputation as one of the deftest modern beatmakers. His acclaimed 2024 album '74: Out of Time' (Coalmine Records) is a concept project recorded entirely at 74bpm, channelling the urgency of 1974 into today's political and cultural climate, and was reimagined with vocalists in 2025. A prolific releaser, he dropped 'Welcome 2 Norway' in late 2024 and his latest single 'Piano Pieces' arrived in February 2026, repurposing recordings from his musician father. Across more than a decade he has built one of the richest jazz-sampling catalogs in lo-fi hip-hop, spanning instrumental beat tapes and full vocal collaborations.
