Natanya Popoola is a 23-year-old vocalist-producer from North-West London who records and performs under her first name. Shaped by classical training and a love of jazz, she produces her own beats and builds songs that move freely across electronica, R&B, soul and pop. Her heritage is Indo-Trinidadian on her mother's side and Yoruba on her father's, an upbringing of mixed cultures that feeds the worldly rhythms and layered production in her work. While building her music career she studied English Literature at University College London, citing Janet Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Paramore and Stevie Wonder as touchstones. Her two-act EP 'Feline's Return' (2025) and its follow-up 'Feline's Return Act II' introduced her to a wider audience and earned co-signs from artists including SZA, Tyler, the Creator, Doechii, Ravyn Lenae and Clairo. She joined R&B group FLO for a Somerset House show in 2025 and continues to release regularly, with her latest single 'DON'T ASK!' arriving in April 2026.
