Maga
Maga is the project of French producer and DJ Mickael Agarla, born in Nice and now based in Lisbon, where he recently opened his own studio at Som de Lisboa. His path into music started behind the bar rather than the booth — he spent several years running a nightclub in Cape Town before fully committing to producing and DJing. As Maga he has shaped a signature sound rooted in melodic, organic and minimalistic house, refined through years of sunrise sets at Burning Man's Robot Heart and Mayan Warrior. In 2022 he co-founded Scenarios alongside Emanuel Satie, Sean Doron and Tim Engelhardt — a collective and label now regarded as one of house music's most vital new voices, with releases and remixes landing on Defected and beyond. Recent 2026 singles like 'Energy', 'Moving On' and 'You Can Dance' (with a Super Flu remix) keep him in heavy rotation, drawing over 270,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
