Juan RIOS (born 1995) is a Seville-based beatmaker widely regarded as one of the highest standards of lo-fi sound made in Spain. Drawing on boom-bap roots and warm jazz harmonies, he crafts introspective, nature-inspired instrumental beats full of nuance and dusty vinyl texture. In 2015 he co-founded FANSO, the first lo-fi rap collective in Spain, alongside Lasser, Sr. Guayaba, Made in M and Craneo. Over more than a decade he has built a deep instrumental catalogue — from early works like 'Sumergido', 'Natura' and 'Energeia' to recent projects such as 'Caller Unknown' (2024) and 'Sonho Lúcido no Brasil' (2025). He has collaborated with artists including Obijuan, Emune, +ma, Laqueus and Lord Space, releasing through labels such as Guayaba Records, ChillHop and Melting Pot. His sound blends jazzy chords, crisp drum work and warm analog textures into intimate lo-fi soundscapes.
