Andrew Marlin is an American songwriter, mandolinist, and record producer based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He is best known as the co-founder and primary songwriter of Watchhouse (formerly Mandolin Orange), a critically acclaimed Americana duo he leads with Emily Frantz. Marlin has produced six studio albums with Watchhouse and is an in-demand producer for other artists, with production credits including Mipso, Kate Rhudy, Rachel Baiman, and Ismay. He has played mandolin as a session musician on recordings for Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers, Waxahatchee, and Phil Cook.
