YJKL
YJKL is the lo-fi and downtempo project of Rome-based producer Christian Caruso, who also records as Chris Keya and co-founded Magnetfeld Records. Blending jazz beats, ambient textures, and downtempo grooves, YJKL has built a deep catalog with collaborations alongside Andrew Simpson, KOHEI YOSHII (Japanolofi Records), and releases on Soundplate Records, Chill Select, Sphere of Hip-Hop, and Too Lost. Standout tracks such as Rainbow Sunsets, a walk in the park, and Slick Moves have earned steady playlist traction across study beats and jazz-rap collections. In 2026 YJKL keeps a prolific weekly release rhythm — singles including Dim Sum (May 2026) and Soft (April 2026) — while Caruso continues DJing across Rome and evolving between lo-fi, house, and wider electronic production.
