Wu-Lu is the project of Miles Romans-Hopcraft, an artist, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Brixton, South London. He builds a restless, post-genre sound that folds together experimental hip-hop, grunge, punk, dub and jazz, writing, performing and producing the bulk of his music himself. After years self-releasing music and working at the heart of South London's collaborative scene, he signed to Warp Records and released his acclaimed debut album 'LOGGERHEAD' in 2022, following the earlier album 'Ginga' (2015) and EP 'South'. His catalog spans more than 20 releases, including the 2024 EP 'Learning To Swim On Empty' and a steady run of singles. His latest record, the collaborative EP 'Bakerz Dozen' with POiSON ANNA, arrived 5 June 2026 via Warp. A PRS Foundation Open Fund grantee and festival mainstay, he is one of the most distinctive producer-artists in the UK underground.
