Built on a classical foundation — piano and brass instruments through his school and college years — he crafts melody-laced, deeply groove-driven productions that he describes as 'an unrelenting hunt for the secret sauce,' welcoming dancers as partners on the journey. Since picking up DJing in 2016 after moving to NYC, he has developed a signature sound spanning organic, melodic, deep and progressive house, with releases on tastemaker labels including Anjunadeep and All Day I Dream. His music has earned support from Above & Beyond, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, and he has shared bills with the likes of Maceo Plex and Nora En Pure. Collaborations with Marsh, David Orin and djimboh round out a deep catalog of 60+ singles and EPs, with fresh 2026 releases including 'Mindful' (May 2026), 'Dreaming Awake / Ecstasy' and the 'Blue Meadow' EP. ## Has worked with [Explore all credits](https://obra.art/wassu#artistas) 2.2M Total plays & views Projects20 Since2024 Verified streams · verified today 2,181,320 +2 K a day · +52 K a month, on average 20 projects · 18 artists · since 2024 spotify 100 % 2,181,320 81 days · Total ## Records [50K has passed 50,000 streams Time Zones Wassu, HAUMS 26 days ago](https://obra.art/wassu/time-zones) [400K has passed 400,000 streams Blue Meadow - Sunset Mix Wassu, HAUMS 32 days ago](https://obra.art/wassu/blue-meadow-sunset-mix) [40K has passed 40,000 streams Dreaming Awake Wassu 32 days ago](https://obra.art/wassu/dreaming-awake) [30K has passed 30,000 streams Aerobic - Djimboh Remix Wassu, djimboh, Anonimat 32 days ago](https://obra.art/wassu/aerobic-djimboh-remix) Most played ## Most played [01 Bulkowa - Wassu Remix Arina Mur, Wassu 431.530 432 K](https://obra.art/wassu/bulkowa-wassu-remix) [02 Blue Meadow - Sunset Mix Wassu, HAUMS 418.753 419 K](https://obra.art/wassu/blue-meadow-sunset-mix) [03 Square One Wassu, MØND 377.700 378 K](https://obra.art/wassu/square-one) [04 All For Nothing Wassu, Lovlee 159.815 160 K](https://obra.art/wassu/all-for-nothing) [05 Waiting Wassu, Yahra, Phonic Youth 85.171 85 K](https://obra.art/wassu/waiting-2) [06 Love In My Heart Wassu, ALLKNIGHT 54.474 54 K](https://obra.art/wassu/love-in-my-heart-2) [07 Time Zones Wassu, HAUMS 51.401 51 K](https://obra.art/wassu/time-zones) [08 Star Safari HAUMS, Wassu 47.489 47 K](https://obra.art/wassu/star-safari) [09 Marie Wassu 46.991 47 K](https://obra.art/wassu/marie-2) [10 Dreaming Awake Wassu 40.667 41 K](https://obra.art/wassu/dreaming-awake) Has worked with ## 18 artists. and 4 more Catalog ## 20 releases. 2026 4 [MindfulWassu · 23 K](https://obra.art/wassu/mindful) [Dreaming Awake / EcstasyWassu · 50 K](https://obra.art/wassu/dreaming-awake-ecstasy) [IndriyaWassu, Dysco · 39 K](https://obra.art/wassu/indriya) [Blue Meadow - EPWassu, HAUMS · 508 K](https://obra.art/wassu/blue-meadow-ep) 508 K 2025 11 [Aerobic - Bodai RemixBodai, Wassu · 2 K](https://obra.art/wassu/aerobic-bodai-remix-2) [Aerobic RemixesWassu, djimboh, Anonimat · 35 K](https://obra.art/wassu/aerobic-remixes) [WaitingWassu, Yahra, Phonic Youth · 87 K](https://obra.art/wassu/waiting) 87 K [Love In My HeartWassu, ALLKNIGHT · 85 K](https://obra.art/wassu/love-in-my-heart) 85 K [MarieWassu · 50 K](https://obra.art/wassu/marie) [Eclipse - Radio EditWassu, Nicolas Viana · 20 K](https://obra.art/wassu/eclipse-radio-edit) [All For Nothing / JeanuWassu, Lovlee · 200 K](https://obra.art/wassu/all-for-nothing-jeanu) 200 K [You Make Me Feel - Lio Q RemixLio Q, Wassu · 5 K](https://obra.art/wassu/you-make-me-feel-lio-q-remix) [You Make Me Feel RemixesWassu, Kasey Taylor, JFR · 27 K](https://obra.art/wassu/you-make-me-feel-remixes) [Star SafariHAUMS, Wassu · 47 K](https://obra.art/wassu/star-safari) [AerobicWassu · 43 K](https://obra.art/wassu/aerobic) 2024 5 [Square OneWassu, MØND · 378 K](https://obra.art/wassu/square-one) [Bulkowa - Wassu RemixArina Mur, Wassu · 432 K](https://obra.art/wassu/bulkowa-wassu-remix) [Endless Love EP (Remixed)Wassu, Nicolas Giordano, HAFT · 81 K](https://obra.art/wassu/endless-love-ep-remixed) 81 K [Bell LapWassu · 51 K](https://obra.art/wassu/bell-lap) [Let's Go Back - Wassu RemixWassu · 17 K](https://obra.art/wassu/lets-go-back-wassu-remix) Catalog · Notes · Curatorial Bio Wassu is a New York City-based producer and DJ at the forefront of the city's organic and progressive house scene.
