Since arriving in 2019 he has become a cornerstone of Critical Music's roster, also releasing on Overview, Shogun Audio, Delta9 and DIVIDID. He combines a deft technical touch with a focus on moving the dancefloor, blending rolling liquid funk, jungle breaks and harder neurofunk textures. In 2020 he won the coveted 'Best Newcomer' award at the D&BA Awards on the back of heavyweight tracks like 'Framed' with Klinical. His 2023 debut LP 'Repetition' showcased his full range, and he remains relentlessly prolific — dropping a steady stream of EPs and collaborations through 2025 and 2026 with the likes of Kasra, VISLA, QZB and Klinical. ## Has worked with [Explore all credits](https://obra.art/waeys#artistas) 4.9M Total plays & views Projects20 Since2024 Verified streams · verified today 4,859,820 +5 K a day · +150 K a month, on average 20 projects · 19 artists · since 2024 spotify 100 % 4,859,820 91 days · Total ## Records [20K has passed 20,000 streams Crux Waeys 17 days ago](https://obra.art/waeys/crux) [1M has passed 1,000,000 streams Twerp Waeys, Bensley, Hoax 30 days ago](https://obra.art/waeys/twerp) [90K has passed 90,000 streams Next Record Waeys 30 days ago](https://obra.art/waeys/next-record) [60K has passed 60,000 streams Rear View Mirror Kasra, Waeys 48 days ago](https://obra.art/waeys/rear-view-mirror) Most played ## Most played [01 Twerp Waeys, Bensley, Hoax 1.010.320 1,0 M](https://obra.art/waeys/twerp) [02 If Not Me Waeys, Sylla 833.007 833 K](https://obra.art/waeys/if-not-me) [03 Bad Boy Horns Kelvin 373, Waeys, Selecta J-Man 541.486 541 K](https://obra.art/waeys/bad-boy-horns) [04 I Don't Wanna Know Waeys, Verbz 382.562 383 K](https://obra.art/waeys/i-dont-wanna-know) [05 Malicious Code QZB, Waeys 324.171 324 K](https://obra.art/waeys/malicious-code) [06 Arrivata Waeys 263.446 263 K](https://obra.art/waeys/arrivata) [07 Backhanded Wobbler Waeys, Sylla 144.623 145 K](https://obra.art/waeys/backhanded-wobbler) [08 OMGF - Waeys Remix SMG, Waeys 108.010 108 K](https://obra.art/waeys/omgf-waeys-remix) [09 Objection - Molecular Remix Waeys, Molecular 107.361 107 K](https://obra.art/waeys/objection-molecular-remix) [10 Blank Cycle Waeys, SMG 99.086 99 K](https://obra.art/waeys/blank-cycle) Has worked with ## 19 artists. and 5 more Catalog ## 20 releases. 2026 8 [Sentry GunVISLA, Waeys · 68 K](https://obra.art/waeys/sentry-gun) [TryATMOS, Waeys · 46 K](https://obra.art/waeys/try) [Onyx / Rear View MirrorKasra, Waeys · 113 K](https://obra.art/waeys/onyx-rear-view-mirror) [Next Record / CruxWaeys · 114 K](https://obra.art/waeys/next-record-crux) 114 K [GoneWaeys, Innate MC · 35 K](https://obra.art/waeys/gone) [Stopping Turning - 2 Step Verification Remix2 Step Verification, Rueben, Waeys · 63 K](https://obra.art/waeys/stopping-turning-2-step-verification-remix) [Still Turning EPWaeys · 249 K](https://obra.art/waeys/still-turning-ep) 249 K [Blank CycleWaeys, SMG · 99 K](https://obra.art/waeys/blank-cycle) 2025 10 [SunderWaeys · 45 K](https://obra.art/waeys/sunder) [Malicious CodeQZB, Waeys · 324 K](https://obra.art/waeys/malicious-code) [Arrivata EPWaeys · 380 K](https://obra.art/waeys/arrivata-ep) 380 K [Sell Your DreamKlinical, Waeys · 89 K](https://obra.art/waeys/sell-your-dream) [If Not Me / Backhanded WobblerWaeys, Sylla · 978 K](https://obra.art/waeys/if-not-me-backhanded-wobbler) 978 K [Bad Boy HornsKelvin 373, Waeys, Selecta J-Man · 541 K](https://obra.art/waeys/bad-boy-horns) [TwerpWaeys, Bensley, Hoax · 1,0 M](https://obra.art/waeys/twerp) 1,0 M [Error Code 3000 - Waeys RemixR3IDY, Waeys · 67 K](https://obra.art/waeys/error-code-3000-waeys-remix) [Objection - Molecular RemixWaeys, Molecular · 107 K](https://obra.art/waeys/objection-molecular-remix) [OMGF - Waeys RemixSMG, Waeys · 108 K](https://obra.art/waeys/omgf-waeys-remix) 2024 2 [Powerstream - Wingz RemixWaeys, Molecular, Wingz · 40 K](https://obra.art/waeys/powerstream-wingz-remix) [I Don't Wanna KnowWaeys, Verbz · 383 K](https://obra.art/waeys/i-dont-wanna-know) Milestones · 1 milestone 1M ### Twerp Waeys Sep 2026 Catalog · Notes · Curatorial Bio Waeys (Casper van Wijngaarden) is an Amsterdam-based drum & bass producer and one of the most exciting talents to emerge from the Netherlands' bass scene.
