Julien Pannetier, better known as VIQ, is an electronic music producer based in France who has been crafting his sound from his home studio since 2019. Drawing influence from artists like Lorn, Justice and Daft Punk, he blends electronic music, chillwave, synthwave, dreampop and hip-hop into cinematic, melodic productions with a nostalgic, atmospheric edge. In 2020 he joined the independent label Stratford.Ct, where he released projects such as Last Path (2020), Crystal Shores (2021), Waiting For The Dawn (2022), Trifecta (2023) and the full-length Remnants Melancholia (2024). His work grew out of a youth split between skateboarding and drawing, which still informs the visual, escapist feel of his music. With roughly 85,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, VIQ keeps a steady release cadence, most recently dropping the 2026 single 'dream feels'. He maintains a strong cross-platform presence across Bandcamp, YouTube, Deezer and social media.
