Verraco
Verraco (JP Lopez) is a DJ and producer from Medellin, Colombia, whose sound collides techno, Latin-influenced tribal rhythms, hyper-electronica, carefully crafted IDM and cutting-edge dembow-bass. He co-runs the influential TraTraTrax label and collective and co-founded the Insurgentes imprint. His 2024 Timedance debut 'Breathe... Godspeed' was awarded Pitchfork Best New Music, and in 2025 he signed to XL Recordings, releasing the 'Basic Maneuvers' EP. He keeps a prolific release pace, with the 'Iris EP' (Oct 2025) and the 'Oracle (Weightless Reshape)' single (May 2026) among his latest work. A fixture of the global club circuit, he has recorded sessions for Boiler Room, Rinse FM and Truants, helping push Medellin's electronic scene onto the international stage.
