Bojidar Vasilev, known as TromBobby, is a Sofia-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and jazz trombonist at the center of Bulgaria's soul, R&B, and instrumental hip-hop scene. After studying jazz trombone at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, he built a distinctive beat sound that merges live brass with Dilla-inspired grooves, neo-soul, and left-field jazz — producing for DAYO, SOUTHWICK, C-MO, Jermaine Holmes, and artists across the Bulgarian Beat Wave compilations. His February 2026 Stereofox EP Six Études for Trombone reconnects with his instrument through soul, hip-hop, and alternative influences, with sheet music and sampling stems released openly for producers. TromBobby teaches music production at Sound Ninja Music Academy, won The Kount Challenge in 2021, and has earned BBC Radio 1 support plus placements on Spotify Orbit, Apple Music BEATstrumentals, and TIDAL Rising Deutschland.
