Travis Hosein, known professionally as Travis World, is a Trinidadian DJ and producer recognized as one of soca's most impactful contemporary figures. He began his career at 15 as one of Trinidad's youngest on-air radio talents on Slam 100.5FM, and started producing music at 16. His 2018 breakthrough came with 'Soca Kingdom' (Machel Montano & Super Blue), which won that year's Trinidad and Tobago Carnival Road March. His catalog has surpassed 50 million Spotify streams, with hits including 'Mind My Business' (Patrice Roberts, 10M+ streams), 'Issa Snack' (Nessa Preppy), and the 2024 Alien Head Riddim, which collected nearly a million streams in under a year. In 2024 he won the Red Bull Culture Clash with NoLongTalk Sound System, and he continues releasing riddims and singles year-round (Double Trouble Riddim, April 2026). He cites Major Lazer and DJ Khaled as inspirations for taking Caribbean music to a global audience.
