Bio

Tennyson is the Edmonton, Alberta-based sibling duo of Luke and Tess Pretty — Luke on production and keys, Tess on drums and vocals — making indietronic pop laced with jazz, classical, and R&B textures since 2012. Their meticulous, fizzy electronic productions earned early comparisons to Mount Kimbie and have landed them on Ninja Tune and Maison Kitsuné, with releases including the 2022 album Rot, 2024's collaborative album Dolphin (with Seattle artist leslie), and the November 2025 album aka. Luke's production carries the project — sound design that's intricate without ever feeling cold, full of synth playfulness and acoustic warmth. Singles like "walk backwards" and "it's idea!" rolled out across late 2025 ahead of aka, and the duo continues to tour internationally. Booking is handled by Paradigm Agency.
