TABAL is the alias of Nicolas Tabaud, a French musician and producer born and based in Toulouse, France. He crafts soulful lo-fi hip hop instrumentals built around dusty textures, mellow keys and warm, jazz-tinged melodies that sit comfortably on editorial playlists across the lo-fi scene. Since 2019 he has released steadily through his own catalog and via Retro Jungle Records — where he also serves as A&R — amassing 75+ tracks across singles, EPs and the 2021 album Rainy Days. His collaborative streak runs deep, with credits alongside mell-ø, DLJ, Hoffy Beats, Dosi, Goldbag, Mindeliq and eaup. Spotify describes him as a "lofi vibes producer" from "Toulousainggg, France"; his 2026 singles Breeze, Second Floor and Undercurrent keep the release cadence active heading into summer.
