Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, he grew up playing bass and piano before falling for electronic music in his late teens, shaped by influences like Gorillaz, Little Dragon, and Bonobo. After studying music in New York and a detour through a tech career, he returned to production in 2020 and began releasing as sunflwr. His sound is bright, emotive, deep, and sun-kissed, making him a recognizable voice in the lo-fi and jazz house scene. He has put out multiple EPs, singles, remixes, and collaborations, including 2025's 'heard it in a dream' and 'feel it yet?', and keeps up a steady release pace of dreamy house best suited for late-night drives. sunflwr also performs live, with shows across the US including dates at San Francisco's Public Works. ## Has worked with [Explore all credits](https://obra.art/sunflwr#artistas) 16.1M Total plays & views Projects20 Since2025 Verified streams · verified today 16,086,528 +14 K a day · +406 K a month, on average 20 projects · 12 artists · since 2025 spotify 100 % 16,086,528 82 days · Total ## Records [1.8M has passed 1,750,000 streams right before i loved you REMY QUINN, sunflwr 16 days ago](https://obra.art/sunflwr/right-before-i-loved-you) [600K has passed 600,000 streams stay in my dreams sunflwr 16 days ago](https://obra.art/sunflwr/stay-in-my-dreams) [100K has passed 100,000 streams free your mind sunflwr 22 days ago](https://obra.art/sunflwr/free-your-mind) [800K has passed 800,000 streams could we be fine sunflwr 35 days ago](https://obra.art/sunflwr/could-we-be-fine) Most played ## Most played [01 IN YOUR EYES Mild Minds, sunflwr 4.182.067 4,2 M](https://obra.art/sunflwr/in-your-eyes) [02 right before i loved you REMY QUINN, sunflwr 1.794.834 1,8 M](https://obra.art/sunflwr/right-before-i-loved-you) [03 could we be fine sunflwr 819.733 820 K](https://obra.art/sunflwr/could-we-be-fine) [04 nightcrossing sunflwr 757.930 758 K](https://obra.art/sunflwr/nightcrossing) [05 stay in my dreams sunflwr 603.749 604 K](https://obra.art/sunflwr/stay-in-my-dreams) [06 breathing in sunflwr 497.366 497 K](https://obra.art/sunflwr/breathing-in) [07 feel it yet? - Pìjus Remix sunflwr, Ella Rosa, Pìjus 416.023 416 K](https://obra.art/sunflwr/feel-it-yet-pijus-remix) [08 feel it yet? sunflwr 367.676 368 K](https://obra.art/sunflwr/feel-it-yet) [09 EO sunflwr 325.524 326 K](https://obra.art/sunflwr/eo-4) [10 EO sunflwr 325.524 326 K](https://obra.art/sunflwr/eo-3) Has worked with ## 12 artists.
