Steph.fm is the solo project of Brooklyn-based musician and producer Stephanie Chow, born in Normal, Illinois. Her sound blends soulful melody, ethereal soundscapes, and groovy lush instrumentals — guitar-driven indie and R&B with jazz roots. She first shared music online to document her process as a producer and guitarist; "Ninetails" was her debut release as Steph.fm, and hearing how it brought joy to listeners pushed her to keep creating. In 2026, "Antenna Patch" went viral with 10M+ views, and she followed with singles "Greyhound" and the eight-track album Hyperkino (May 2026). Beyond her solo work, Steph has toured internationally as a guitarist for R&B artists including Fana Hues, Raveena, and bLAck pARty, playing Radio City Music Hall and Governors Ball. She graduated from Columbia University with degrees in philosophy and jazz studies, and has been recognized by BBC Sounds, the American Composers Federation, and DownBeat.
