Spencer Thomson
Spencer Thomson is a Nashville-based producer, writer, mixer, remixer, and solo artist whose work spans dreamy indie instrumentals and deep studio production for reggae and rock-adjacent acts. Best known as lead guitarist and in-house producer for Moon Taxi, he has also shaped records for Mihali, Tropidelic, The Hip Abduction, Claire Wright, and Coyote Island — bringing a laid-back, reflective, and sonically rich touch to both his own releases and collaborations. His solo catalog includes the album Sonic Dribbles and a steady run of singles such as Ventura, Coral Moon, Sunshine Surf, and the April 2026 EP In The Clouds. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Thomson runs his studio practice alongside Moon Taxi's evolving sound, treating production as a laboratory where reggae, psychedelic, and indie influences cross-pollinate. His Spotify bio points to an active pipeline of new music and a portfolio of produced tracks at spencerthomsonmusic.com.
