Space Ghost is Sudi Wachspress, a producer, DJ, radio host and educator based in Oakland, California. Since moving to the Bay Area in 2009 he has become a fixture of the local scene, refining a warm, deep sound that bridges jazz house and lo-fi house with ambient and boogie touches drawn from underground club music of the '80s through the '00s. His records have appeared on respected labels including Apron Records, Pacific Rhythm and Tartelet, earning praise from outlets like Resident Advisor and KALW. In 2025 he founded his own imprint, Peace World Records, a platform built to spotlight like-minded artists across the Bay Area and beyond. He stays prolific, with a steady stream of EPs, edits and remixes — recent 2026 releases include 'Dance Planet - Be Free Edition' and the 'Majestic Fantasies' project.
