Bio

Sound Quelle is the project of Russian producer and DJ Valery Lebedev, born in Togliatti. Active since the early 2010s, he crafts emotive electronic music that pairs beautiful harmonic melodies with moderately aggressive basslines, moving fluidly across progressive house, melodic house, organic house and progressive trance. His releases have landed on respected labels including Armada, Black Hole, Enhanced/Colorize, Silk Music and Monstercat, and his work has drawn support from genre heavyweights such as Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk and Paul Oakenfold. He remains remarkably prolific, shipping new singles almost every month — recent 2026 cuts include 'Anlecta', 'Freefall', 'Resurrection', 'Our Own Island' and 'Sunshine'. With a decade-deep catalogue and a steady stream of fresh releases, Sound Quelle is a textbook mid-tier melodic-house craftsman with a loyal, growing audience.
