SMIFF is an Edinburgh-born, London-based DJ and producer building a reputation for percussive breakbeat and UK bass club weapons designed for peak-time pressure. He cut his teeth playing Headset's long-running Edinburgh parties before translating those influences into a discography spanning Kaizen (Madam X), Earful of Wax, Club Glow, and More Time Records. His March 2026 Beezknees EP on More Time pairs driving rhythms with devastating low end across two no-nonsense dancefloor tracks, following a Kaizen release that earned support from Ben UFO, Call Super, Amaliah, Pariah, and Peder Mannerfelt plus plays on Rinse FM, NTS, and BBC Radio. Beatportal highlighted him in March 2026 as one of the UK's underground suppliers of drum-heavy club music where bass weight, techno sensibilities, and razor-sharp percussion snap floors back to attention.
