Slush Puppy is the genre-fluid hyperpop project of Sam Catalano, a San Diego producer-songwriter who started cutting beats from his bedroom at seventeen. After his single "Juliette" crossed a million streams and his Royal & The Serpent collab "EAT SPIT" went viral on TikTok, he leaned into harder, edgier production — pulling from industrial-trap, indie-pop, electropop and throwback hip-hop. As a producer and writer he has placed records with Snow Wife, Royal & The Serpent, Phem, DeathbyRomy, KATSEYE, CORTIS, ENHYPEN and Katy Perry, and his Muso/Tidal credits list 85+ producer/songwriter performances. "I make a beat and some cool melodies and I just try to make something fun," he told Office Magazine — songs built like "a little movie." Recent drops include "RAPPERS & ROCKSTARS" (March 2026), the "Killer (Commotion Tour Version)" and "WHORE," alongside ongoing remix work for the hyperpop and major-label pop world.
