SIMMS
SIMMS is a North-West London DJ and producer reshaping jungle for a new generation. Raised on his father's jungle and DnB CDs and his mother's R&B, he started DJing in 2021 and producing in 2023, drawing inspiration from Good Looking Records, Metalheadz and Moving Shadow while folding in juke, footwork, grime and jersey textures. He holds a residency on Foundation FM and has played Balamii, NTS and Rinse FM, with a reputation for sets that move from misty pads into razor-sharp breaks. In May 2026 he released his debut EP Traversal Tapes as the first release on London imprint Passionfruit Records — six tracks including Orbit, Perpetual Motion and Missing U (feat. Lizzie Berchie) that balance club heat with atmospheric, melodic depth. Beatport and the UK press have flagged him as a key name in London's new wave of junglists, with attention from figures like Sherelle, Nia Archives and Charlie Tee.
