Shye is an independent singer, songwriter, producer and engineer from Singapore, crafting a hazy blend of dream-pop, bedroom pop and soft alt-rock. Entirely self-taught, she began writing and producing from her bedroom in her mid-teens, building immersive, nostalgic soundscapes informed by influences like Cocteau Twins, The Smashing Pumpkins and The Stone Roses. She broke out at 16 after winning the Singapore showcase of the Vans Musicians Wanted competition, and went on to be named Best New Act From Asia at the NME Awards 2022. Shye has toured across Asia and the United States, opening for the likes of Clairo, Daniel Caesar and Men I Trust. In May 2026 she released her sophomore album 'The Doves Came Home', a 14-track project described as her dreamiest and most personal work to date. With a catalogue of more than 100 self-produced tracks and a steady stream of recent singles, she is one of the central figures of Singapore's modern bedroom-pop scene.
