She is the architect of 'cosmic disco' — a sound she describes as 'light and dark, glitter and gravity, psychedelia without the psychedelics' — built on an Italo-disco foundation laced with hypnotic, interstellar techno. In 2018 she founded the independent label uju Records together with Korean painter Daryung Kim, a platform for her own singles and kindred underground artists. Her catalogue includes interstellar productions such as 'Estacion Espacial', 'Enter The Void' and 'Stardance', and her live sets have been described as 'half spaceship launch, half cult ceremony'. She has performed across Berlin, Mexico City, London, Paris, Seoul and New York, and her work has been featured by Mixmag, DJ Mag and Schon! Magazine. Self-described as 'the girl from outer space', she pairs a minimalist DIY approach with a richly developed interstellar visual world. ## Has worked with [Explore all credits](https://obra.art/shubostar#artistas) 1.3M Total plays & views Projects20 Since2022 Verified streams · verified today 1,294,528 +2 K a day · +48 K a month, on average 20 projects · 21 artists · since 2022 spotify 100 % 1,294,528 86 days · Total ## Records [10K has passed 10,000 streams Tiempo y Lugar - Alan Dixon Remix Shubostar, Galera, Alan Dixon 25 days ago](https://obra.art/shubostar/tiempo-y-lugar-alan-dixon-remix) [20K has passed 20,000 streams Stardance Shubostar 32 days ago](https://obra.art/shubostar/stardance) [600K has passed 600,000 streams Brave New World Shubostar, Terr 50 days ago](https://obra.art/shubostar/brave-new-world) [50K has passed 50,000 streams Echoes of Dolphins Shubostar 93 days ago](https://obra.art/shubostar/echoes-of-dolphins) Most played ## Most played [01 Brave New World Shubostar, Terr 650.801 651 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/brave-new-world) [02 Milestones - Shubostar Remix Budakid, Shubostar 89.196 89 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/milestones-shubostar-remix) [03 Attraction Marc DePulse, SNYL, Shubostar 82.349 82 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/attraction-2) [04 Echoes of Dolphins Shubostar 59.278 59 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/echoes-of-dolphins) [05 Echoes of Dolphins Captain Mustache, Shubostar 59.278 59 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/echoes-of-dolphins-2) [06 First Children Shubostar 58.349 58 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/first-children) [07 One - Kalabrese Re-Jam Noema, Shubostar 36.155 36 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/one-kalabrese-re-jam) [08 Dolphin Dream Shubostar 22.924 23 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/dolphin-dream-2) [09 Forest Baby Shubostar 21.516 22 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/forest-baby) [10 Stardance Shubostar 20.835 21 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/stardance) Has worked with ## 21 artists. and 7 more Catalog ## 20 releases. 2026 3 [Starlight ArcadeShubostar, Rina, Benji · 14 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/starlight-arcade) [Time Is Now (Shubostar Remix)Evan Michael, Shubostar](https://obra.art/shubostar/time-is-now-shubostar-remix) [StardanceShubostar · 21 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/stardance) 2025 6 [AttractionMarc DePulse, SNYL, Shubostar · 94 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/attraction) 94 K [Waiting For The Night - Shubostar RemixFedele, Shubostar, LVDOVICA · 4 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/waiting-for-the-night-shubostar-remix) [Enter The VoidShubostar · 65 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/enter-the-void) [Echoes of DolphinsCaptain Mustache, Shubostar · 59 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/echoes-of-dolphins-2) [Galaxy WalkerShubostar · 21 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/galaxy-walker) [Generation XShubostar · 12 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/generation-x) 2024 4 [First ChildrenShubostar · 58 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/first-children) [Through This Night - Shubostar RemixDOUBLE DOUBLE, Moullinex, Justin Strauss, Shubostar · 10 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/through-this-night-shubostar-remix) [I Get Around - Shubostar RemixNiv Ast, Shubostar · 9 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/i-get-around-shubostar-remix) [Brave New WorldShubostar, Terr · 651 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/brave-new-world) 651 K 2023 5 [Forest BabyShubostar · 22 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/forest-baby) [ONE (Shubostar Remix)Noema, Shubostar · 55 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/one-shubostar-remix) 55 K [Lørdag - Radio EditShubostar · 10 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/lrdag-radio-edit) [Milestones - Shubostar RemixBudakid, Shubostar · 89 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/milestones-shubostar-remix) [Dolphin DreamShubostar · 52 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/dolphin-dream) 2022 2 [Ghost of Arms (Remixes)Curses, Matisa, Wladimir Schall, Shubostar · 29 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/ghost-of-arms-remixes) [Tiempo y Lugar (Alan Dixon Remixes)Shubostar, Galera, Alan Dixon · 18 K](https://obra.art/shubostar/tiempo-y-lugar-alan-dixon-remixes) Catalog · Notes · Curatorial Bio Shubostar is a South Korean producer and DJ, born in Seoul and now based in Berlin after years spent in Mexico City and Bangkok.
