Sebb Bash is a Swiss producer, DJ and beatmaker from Lausanne who first made his name in the 1990s as the host of 'Metissages', the first rap radio show on Switzerland's Couleur 3. Over a long career he has worked alongside major American rap figures including Mobb Deep, Jadakiss, Kool G Rap, Big Noyd and Tony Yayo, and after moving to New York in 1999 he struck up a lasting collaboration with The Alchemist. In 2019 he was awarded the Swiss Music Prize by the Federal Office of Culture in recognition of his impact on the Swiss and international scenes. His sound is a dusty, jazzy, sample-based take on experimental boom-bap hip-hop. In March 2026 he released the full-length 'I Guess U Had To Be There' in collaboration with rapper ELUCID, preceded by the single 'The Lorax' featuring billy woods. With around 17,000 monthly Spotify listeners and a deep catalogue stretching across Bandcamp, he is a respected mid-tier producer still actively dropping new music.
