Sawyer Utah is a Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and producer originally from La Crosse, Wisconsin. He started playing guitar at age six and taught himself recording and production in his parents' basement during middle school, building a dreamy indie-pop sound he describes as nostalgic, hypnotic, and intimate. Signed to Norbert Nix's VISCYRL in 2019 and later to a publishing JV with Spirit Music Group and Arcade Songs, Utah splits time between his own artist project and writing/producing for others — recent cuts include Zach Hood's "Beautiful As You" and "Another Summer Night," with collaborations spanning Zhone (Troye Sivan), Sophie Simmons (Leah Kate), Camylio, and Prateek Kuhad. His debut EP WHEREVER U ARE ✭ arrived in 2025, followed by the 2026 sophomore EP WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN ✭ featuring "play with my heart," "WHERE DO U GO?," and "LADY" with John Waugh of The 1975 on sax. He has performed at the Ryman Auditorium opening for Zach Hood and continues a steady 2026 release cadence with singles like WTSGD✭ and LADY (2:15am).
