Sango (Kai Asa Savon Wright) is a Seattle-born, Michigan-based producer and a longtime member of the Los Angeles collective Soulection. He is a producer-for-others at the highest level, having produced for Bryson Tiller (including Whatever She Wants), Frank Ocean, Smino, Channel Tres and many more. He is also celebrated for his Da Rocinha baile-funk series, which fuses Brazilian funk samples with electronic and soul-influenced beats, and for his North album series. A graphic designer as well, he art-directs all his own releases. He remains extremely active, releasing through 2026, with 37 of his 50 recent releases being collaborations with other artists.
