Bio

Sam Alfred is an Egyptian-born, South Sudanese Australian DJ and producer based in Melbourne (Naarm). Selected for the Beatport Next Class of 2026, he has become one of Australia's fastest-rising dance exports with a signature sound blending 90s-tinged house, hard house, UK garage, and euphoric club music. Releases on Running Back, Gallery Recordings, Planet Strangelove, and Phenomena Records — including the Roadblocks EP and viral single "I Want You To Know" with Kyle Starkey — have earned support from Peggy Gou, Chris Stussy, and triple j, plus festival slots at Boiler Room, Beyond The Valley, and Parklife. He produces his own tracks in Logic Pro, mixes jazz-tipped house with deep cuts live, and toured sold-out shows across Australia, Asia, and Europe in 2024–2025. Recent drops include the Backwards Step EP on Job Jobse's Planet Strangelove, Stimulation, and the 2026 single BLESSINGS.
