Rova

Bio

Rova is a Wellington-based drum and bass producer and DJ who discovered music production in 2019 and has since become one of the fastest-rising names in global DnB. Known for his signature producer tag "HOO" and bone-rattling, boiler-room energy, his sound pairs gritty bass, massive 808s, sharp synths, and devastating switches with trap-influenced second drops. Breakout single "Eyes On Me" exploded after Chase & Status played it at Ultra Miami 2024, earning Top 5 nods at the Drum and Bass Arena Awards 2023 for Best Newcomer and Best Track ("Close To Me"). He has released on UKF ("Say My Name", "Take Me Higher"), collaborated with Grafix and 1991, mixed for BBC Radio 1, and sold out headline tours across New Zealand, Australia, and Europe. His debut EP Undisputed arrived on UKF in June 2026 with a boxing-themed visual concept, following 2026 singles "See U Work", "Low Down" with A Little Sound, and "Octane". Inspired early by Skrillex and deadmau5, Rova is now designing his own tour production while pushing genre-bending drum & bass toward something fresh and unmistakably his own.
