RONA. is the electronic project of Kaytetye producer and DJ Rona Glynn-McDonald, based in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) in central Australia. Blending desert Country textures with club culture, she crafts immersive electronica that moves between downtempo introspection and dancefloor energy — synths layered with the rhythms and storylines of her homeland. Since her 2022 breakout she has shared stages with Four Tet and Overmono, debuted on Boiler Room at Sugar Mountain, and played Laneway, Pitch Music & Arts, Strawberry Fields and Splendour in the Grass. Her 2025 EP It's All Here marked a shift toward experimental club music, followed by singles Mars, Show Me and the June 2026 release To The Ground. A sonic storyteller amplifying First Nations sovereignty in sound, RONA. channels connection to Country, self and place across generations.
