Bio

robe is the solo project of KenT, a Japanese producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist who plays saxophone, flute, and synthesizer in the group Soulflex. Beyond his horn work, he pushes into beatmaking and electronic production, blending jazz, jazz fusion, jazz beats, and jazztronica into warm, groove-driven instrumentals. He debuted in July 2023 with a first EP that included co-productions with close collaborators Kzyboost and FKD, and has since remixed legendary beatmaker grooveman Spot while working with artists like Chill The World and YonYon. His March 2026 debut on Stereofox Records, Childhood Memories, is a four-track EP built around expressive sax lines, lush keys, and live drums — from the cozy opener "In Retrospect" to the rooted closer "Family Tree." His music has landed on Apple Music's Lo-Fi Japan, Spotify editorials including Monday Spin and winter soundtrack playlists, and NEUT MAGAZINE.
