Bio

Robby East is an Amsterdam-based music producer and DJ known for his melodic, 'chill' take on house music. Half Dutch and half South-Korean, he grew up in a musical household, playing piano and guitar before discovering production software at age 13, and went on to study electronic music production at the Conservatory of Haarlem. He first built a name in the future house scene alongside artists like Oliver Heldens, then transitioned to melodic house for deeper creative expression. In 2022 he signed with This Never Happened, Lane 8's label, and also releases through Colorize. His track 'Toucan' became the most-played song on SiriusXM Chill in May and June 2023, and his work has been supported by Lane 8, Above & Beyond, Nora En Pure, Sultan + Shepard and Tritonal, with airplay on BBC Radio 1, NPO 3FM and SLAM! FM. He performs across European cities and continues to release new singles regularly.
