Rinzen — the project of Los Angeles-based producer and DJ Michael Sundius — crafts melodic, cinematic soundscapes blending melodic house and melodic techno with mystical, world-inspired textures. A former music journalist, he launched his artist career in 2017 when he was signed to deadmau5's mau5trap label, premiering his debut EP 'Forbidden City'. Since then he has released on prestigious imprints including Bedrock, Last Night on Earth, Rose Avenue and Lane 8's This Never Happened, where he dropped his 2024 debut album 'Bend to the Light'. He has collaborated with artists such as Qrion and Soel and performed at major festivals including EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival and Electric Forest. He stays prolific, with fresh 2026 output such as 'Just Noise Pt. II'.
