Bio

Ridney is the production alias of British DJ and producer Paul Richards, a Cafe Mambo Ibiza resident and three-time Pete Tong BBC Radio 1 Essential New Tune winner. Over more than two decades he has released groove-driven funky house, disco house, and nu-disco on Defected, Toolroom, Armada, Ministry of Sound, Perfecto, and Spinnin — with his track "At Night" famously opening Carl Cox's final set at Space Ibiza. He runs the independent imprint Paharas Musica (since 2021) and remains prolific into 2026 with singles including "Bring It Down (Ridney Remix)", "Everything You Do", and "The High". His music has crossed into the mainstream via ITV's Love Island, Netflix placements, and a remix on Flo Rida & David Guetta's UK No.1 "Club Can't Handle Me", while his podcast "Secrets of a Dance Hit" explores how underground club records become chart crossovers. With ~183k monthly Spotify listeners, 18M+ catalog streams, and regular DJ tours across Ibiza and Europe, he sits in the professional mid-tier where public stream analytics carry real booking and press value.
