Since his debut EP 'Prototype' on Kompakt Records in 2004, he has built a singular catalogue of infectious, '90s-inspired electro, trancey house and acid — all made and performed live with analogue electronics and a self-built modular synthesizer. Beyond his own material on labels including Kompakt, Kitsuné, Southern Fried and Correspondant, he is a sought-after remixer, having reworked Robyn, Depeche Mode, Fever Ray, The Knife and Moby. His recent albums 'Sicko' and 'Teufelsberg' drew support from peers like Jennifer Cardini, Roman Flügel, Jackmaster and Kölsch, and he is a regular at venues such as Berlin's Panorama Bar. He remains highly active, with his latest single 'Far Out!' arriving in June 2026. ## Has worked with [Explore all credits](https://obra.art/rexthedog#artistas) 20.4M Total plays & views Projects20 Since2019 Verified streams · verified today 20,413,683 +10 K a day · +286 K a month, on average 20 projects · 14 artists · since 2019 spotify 100 % 20,413,683 86 days · Total ## Records [70K has passed 70,000 streams Elektromekanik Rex The Dog 61 days ago](https://obra.art/rexthedog/elektromekanik) [250K has passed 250,000 streams Prototype - Edit Rex The Dog 81 days ago](https://obra.art/rexthedog/prototype-edit) [100K has passed 100,000 streams Vortex - Radio Edit Rex The Dog 81 days ago](https://obra.art/rexthedog/vortex-radio-edit) Most played ## Most played [01 Change This Pain For Ecstasy Rex The Dog, Eli Escobar 4.427.665 4,4 M](https://obra.art/rexthedog/change-this-pain-for-ecstasy-2) [02 Change This Pain For Ecstasy Rex The Dog, Azzecca 4.427.665 4,4 M](https://obra.art/rexthedog/change-this-pain-for-ecstasy-4) [03 Change This Pain For Ecstasy Rex The Dog 4.427.665 4,4 M](https://obra.art/rexthedog/change-this-pain-for-ecstasy-3) [04 Son of a Gun Airwolf Paradise, JX, Rex The Dog 1.493.066 1,5 M](https://obra.art/rexthedog/son-of-a-gun) [05 Not Going Home Rex The Dog 1.487.763 1,5 M](https://obra.art/rexthedog/not-going-home) [06 Change This Pain For Ecstasy - Extended Version Rex The Dog 1.089.660 1,1 M](https://obra.art/rexthedog/change-this-pain-for-ecstasy-extended-version) [07 Vortex Rex The Dog 662.728 663 K](https://obra.art/rexthedog/vortex-2) [08 Circulate - Wolfram Remix Rex The Dog, Wolfram 375.174 375 K](https://obra.art/rexthedog/circulate-wolfram-remix) [09 Prototype - Edit Rex The Dog 260.056 260 K](https://obra.art/rexthedog/prototype-edit) [10 Your Wish Is My Command Rex The Dog 217.024 217 K](https://obra.art/rexthedog/your-wish-is-my-command) Has worked with ## 14 artists.
