Rebel Of Sleep
Rebel Of Sleep is the melodic and progressive house project of Loris Pondérant — born in Nîmes, France, and now based in Montreal. He started producing during the 2020 lockdown, combining techno's moody atmospheres with bright leads, organic drums, and heady melodies across releases on Immersed Recordings, PRGRSSN, and Elliptical Sun. Early milestones include "Nebula" on GRF Sound and the Le Youth-compiled hit "TP253," followed by a prolific run of EPs that earned support from Lane 8, Sultan + Shepard, Mees Salomé, and Nora En Pure. On stage he has opened for Le Youth, ALPHA 9, Jason Ross, Above & Beyond, Gabriel & Dresden, and Kasablanca at New City Gas and Newspeak. His March 2026 single "Where You Are" and January EP "Further We Go" keep a steady release pace while he balances music with computer science studies in Montreal's NDG neighborhood.
