Ahmed Samy El-Qadi is a Cairo-based pianist and music producer with a decade of experience centered around live improvisation and stage performance. His work is defined by "composing in the moment," creating a spontaneous musical dialogue that has made him a key performer in projects like the band "Maktoub Aleina" and the "Irtgalia" where he specializes in intuitive live accompaniment. Ahmed’s musical background is enriched by cross-cultural collaboration, notably as a member of "Estabena," an ensemble performing Mediterranean music with artists from various nationalities. This multicultural exposure has deeply influenced his improvisational approach, blending diverse global scales with contemporary performance. In addition to his stage work, Ahmed designs and facilitates creative music workshops, focusing on interactive musical education. His portfolio includes collaborations with share3 el 3lom and spacetoon at international festivals, alongside scoring independent short films and cultural projects, all driven by a focus on the authentic power of improvised sound.
