Bio

French beatmaker ProleteR (Toulouse) is a key figure in the international electro, nu-jazz, and instrumental hip-hop scene. His signature sound stitches jazz and swing samples into hip-hop beats — the missing link between underground beatmaking and electro swing — with tracks past 200 million streams across platforms. Career highlights include the Curses from Past Times EP (2011), the Tribute to the Masters trilogy, albums Fairuz (2022), Temperamental Cats (2025), Atlas(t) (2025), and 2026’s Bricolage, plus the July 2026 collab single Rabbit Holez with Mylo Stone. He has toured and shared stages with Wax Tailor, L’Entourloop, Parov Stelar, Chinese Man, and Gramatik, and in autumn 2026 joins Blockhead and Arms & Sleepers for a multi-country European run. Based in Toulouse, he also releases vinyl via Banzaï Lab / Miniwax and keeps a steady Bandcamp catalog for collectors.
