PROFF is Vladimir Ershov, a Russian producer and DJ known for richly textured, emotionally layered productions spanning progressive house, organic house, deep trance and melodic techno. Raised by a classical-musician father, he trained in piano and saxophone at music, variety-art and jazz schools before falling for electronic sound. A 2008 introduction by Australian producer Jaytech brought his work to Above & Beyond, and his track "My Personal Summer" began an enduring relationship with Anjunadeep — where he now serves as Head of Production for the Anjunabeats/Anjunadeep studio. In 2024 he co-founded the Thunderlab label with frequent collaborator Volen Sentir. Active since 2008 and still releasing prolifically, his catalogue spans 50+ releases, with the single "Sopia" arriving in May 2026.
