Bio

Povoa is the project of Paris-based producer and DJ Jules Rosset, rising through the European underground with club-focused electronics that blend UK bass grit, electro tension, and ghetto-tech energy. His solo productions have landed on Moshi Moshi, Cocoon, Southern Fried Records, Live From Earth, and Pretty Weird, drawing support from selectors across festival stages and clubs including Berghain and Boiler Room. Beyond his solo work, he produces for the Franco-Brazilian trio PPJ alongside vocalist Páula, fusing baile funk, samba, and electroclash into festival anthems like Primavera. Recent momentum includes the Clammy EP on Live From Earth (February 2026), singles NTM and Beat Bunny with Madge, and press coverage from Beatportal, DJ Mag, and DJ sets for HÖR Berlin and Radio Nova. He also develops his own audio plugins (Frogger, Boing!, Povoxxx) while maintaining an active touring calendar across Europe.
