POSY
POSY is the recording name of Rudy Klobas, a Portland-based producer and multi-instrumentalist whose music intersects jazz, R&B, lo-fi, and electronic textures. Originally trained on classical guitar, he taught himself piano, bass, and drums and began writing on a four-track cassette recorder — building a lush, densely layered sound that still leaves space for nostalgia and calm. His Abroad EP grew from field recordings captured while traveling in Japan, and his Bastard Jazz debut album The Garden deepened that organic/electronic blend with Pacific Northwest field recordings and live instrumentation. Releases like Mount Yufu (all-analog, with flutist Seb Zillner) and the 2026 single Ahhh with BrandonLee Cierley featuring Braxton Cook keep him active across jazz-hop and editorial playlists. He has collaborated with artists including Nogymx, BrandonLee Cierley, and Denitia, and records as both bandleader and producer from Portland, Oregon.
